We are removing kernel-mod.eclass in favour of linux-info, please could you commit this or ack that its ok for me to do so

Ah..if anyone else is reading this, please don't take any action yet. I am considering/proposing some linux-info eclass changes which will affect usage and this would be best done before we have too many users...

arrgh.. now you tell me? I've already changed net-dialup/bewan-adsl and net-dialup/gigaset-isdn! Hopefully, gigaset-isdn don't need linux-info and bewan-adsl has only a kernel_is call.

Well, tell us when you think it is finished and we will do the changes.

net-dialup/ppp doesn't appear to rely on any kernel info. Or am I missing something?

ppp uses header files from /usr/include/linux. it does not depend in any way of /usr/src/linux.
