Description Greg Walters 2004-12-04 22:28:36 UTC
When I type 'emerge aim-transport' my system runs through it's stuff then starts configing. There is an error that says that autoconf > V 2.5 is required and it keeps configing. After configing there is a fatal error: autoconf V > 2.5 not found. I have autoconf 2.59 installed along with V 2.13.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.type 'emerge aim-transport'
2.
3.

Actual Results:
FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.50 or higher is required for this script

Expected Results:
compiled cleanly

The bug is fixed if you edit /usr/lib/misc/ac-wrapper.sh and change the line reading 'binary_old="${0}-2.<old version here>' to the same as binary_new
