Where did this icon come from?  I don't see it on either of the zsnes sites in the ebuild.

ah, nevermind.  it's cleverly hidden in the icons directory. ;-)

Added desktop and icon files in 1.42 via make_desktop_entry and distro icon.  Thanks for the bug report.
