Description Travis Hoffman 2004-12-04 00:58:15 UTC
When galeon tries to load a webpage i get this error in the console.

galeon: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/mozilla/components/libnecko.so: undefined symbol: PR_GetAddrInfoByName

the page does not load after this. It is basically useless.
I am not sure if this is a gentoo or a problem with the applications but thought this information may be useful.

Mozilla 1.7-r3
Galeon 1.3.18

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open galeon
2. Enter in a website
3. press enter (lol) *shrug*

Actual Results:
Says "Loading <insert url here>..." and no page loads.

Expected Results:
Should have made a connections and loaded the website.

Can't reproduce this, but your information seems to be wrong, because galeon-1.3.18 depends on at least mozilla-1.7.2.
Can you try to update your mozilla to the latest version and rebuild galeon after that?

Closing this, as I got no feedback from bug-reporter.
If this is still an issue, please re-open bug.
