The ebuild tries to install a desktop icon:

make_desktop_entry "${PN}" "GPS" "${EPREFIX}/usr/share/gps/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/gps_32.png" "Development;IDE;"

But gps_32.png does not exist, locate only finds old one from previous installation:

$ locate gps_32.png
/usr/gnat/share/gps/icons/dark/32px/gps_32.png
