Unlikely.

Is that a sign of a local issue?

Ok, thought this due to similarity with #730428. Now that I take a second look they are more dissimilar than I thought :)

Yes, systemd-nspawn containers do this while running emerge and I haven't found a solution for it, though this hasn't caused problems before so I would hesitate to assume it's related.

The build just worked fine for me after trying again, so I will close this.
