I'm helping to expand the readily available XMMS plugin packages, xmms-midi is a
midi input plugin for XMMS which depends upon xmms and timidity++

after inserting the plugin, the ebuild will attempt to copy the timidity.cfg
file from /usr/share/timidity to /etc, assuming it exists in the first place. 
If timidity++ is instlaled to a different path, or the cfg file is missing, it
must be copied over manually, as noted in the install.

I suggest media-sound/xmms-midi as the portage package name
