Stunnel is nice, except that sometimes a complicated network setup dictates that it needs to utilize an SSL-Proxy to get through a firewall. Tan Swee Heng and Daniel Savard have created a patch that purports to allow this. This is a request to have this patch added to the gentoo ebuild for stunnel. It would make the Stunnel software a LOT more useful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install stunnel on a system behind a draconian firewall (no NAT - DMZ proxying only) 2. Try to create an stunnel VPN 3. Doesn't connect Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: It would be nice if it would connect outbound using the SSL-proxy, which is what this patch does.
