Attached is an ebuild for the gscore notation taking program. Gscore is a non-page-oriented notation program, entirely written from scratch in C & GTK+. With Gscore, you can easily write your scores. Also, you can now Import and Export in abc. I suggest media-sound/gscore Fabian
Created attachment 45161 [details] ebuild for gscore-0.0.7
Created attachment 49404 [details] Reviewed ebuild. Set the RESTRICT="nomirror", because file is not being mirrored anyware. Use of echo >> in order to make the scons use the CFLAGS. Remove the inherit eutils, since it is not needed. Nevertheless, this program has a lot of bugs and should remain masked. May be and hard masked...
Created attachment 49439 [details] Reviewed ebuild. Sorry, I misunderstood nomirror keyword. New ebuild attached.
Thanks for the tips! Btw. the ebuild also works for the 0.0.8 release.
I just tried this ebuild with 0.0.9, it emerged successfully even though there was the following error: scons: Reading SConscript files ... NameError: name 'env' is not defined: File "SConstruct", line 1: env.Append(CCFLAGS="-march=pentium4 -mcpu=pentium4 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -ftracer") And of course no binary files were installed - since nothing was compiled.
Is it possible to have this ebuild in portage?
Created attachment 58665 [details] Ebuild for gscore-0.0.9 This is probably an ebuild that would work with gscore-0.0.9, since it now has a standard Makefile. But it need a new dependency: abcp or libabcp, which has no ebuild, and I don't know how to make one. abcp is available here: http://abcp.sourceforge.net/

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) 'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached to this bug. This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the main tree. Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. Dead upstream, cannot fetch the tarball, one of the deps is not in the tree anymore. Closing.
