When emerging Rhythmbox I get this error on compile time:

I have ~x86 system which is up to date wiht portage snapshot from 29th Nov 2004.

before reporting a bug recompile with sane CFLAGS.

then if you still have a problem post a full build log, as usual this bit misses relevant parts.

Try with CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O2 -pipe" or some other sane combination, and re-open if you still have problems.

ahh...
the problem was with "-DN_DEBUG -DG_DISABLE_ASSERT" 
sorry for this confusion
