I can't really full a bug report since I don't have enough time to reproduce the problem, but, I leave here the lead for anyone intrested in trying. Plainly, glibc may give errors when working with distcc. I have two computers, migrated them to gcc 3.4 and then back to 3.3. In the first one of them where I was doing emerge -e system, glibc couldn't compile, after disabling distcc, it compiled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
