It could be quite impossible to track it down, at least a backtrace could help a bit. You can also look in this list if there's something similar: http://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&product=kontact&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=CLOSED&bug_severity=crash&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&changedin=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=
You can try removing (after making a copy of it) you ~/.kde ebuild or try with a totally new users to look if it crashes again. You can also trying to report this bug upstream to bugs.kde.org I'm going to close this bug until it's not reproducible.
