Description Peter J. de Vrijer 2004-12-01 12:50:41 UTC
When emerging avidemux 2.0.34_rc1-r1 in the autoconfig it does not see
mmx mmx2 and sse support which my processor (Amd Athlon XP 1600+) has.

Avidemux-2.0.34_rc1 did find these features. So what changed to
have this effect?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerging avidemux
2. Building mpeg file to make a VCD
3. Does not report using mmx, mmx2 sse etc, and is very slow
only 8 fps in stead of 30+ as with the former version

Actual Results:
see steps

Expected Results:
Avidemux using processor acceleration mmx mmx2 and sse

Comment 1 Marc Hildebrand (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-12 08:51:13 UTC
Ok, as 2.0.34_rc2 is out and taht ebuild has the appropriate changes to let autodetection toggle the use of mmx if not explicitly disabled, I won't fix rc1 anymore.
Please test rc2 and open a new bug if needed.
Thanks for the report!
Cheers,

Marc.
