Hi, 

Looked all through the current portage tree, and I could not locate
IO-Socket-SSL perl module.  I have emerged all relevant packages, such as
libwww-perl, mod_ssl,   NET-SSLeay, OpenSSL, and all other ssl modules given in
dev-perl branch of Portage tree.  According to CPAN, this is a replacement for
IO-Socket-INET, which is included in the portage tree and installs in
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/IO/Socket/ as INET.pm.  The module I need should provide
SSL.pm in this same directory.

CPAN indicated that Net-SSLeay (1.19 recommended) and OpenSSL (0.9.6g
recommended) are the required dependencies for IO::Socket::SSL module to work
properly.

I would appreciate it if you make an ebuild to include this SSL perl module into
current portage tree.

This is in portage unmasked, tested it on x86 and sparc64 without a hitch.
