SiSCtrl is a tool used with SiS graphics cards and has not been updated in portage for over the year. I am familiar with portage overlay and do use it, however I feel that sinse Gentoo this days uses Xorg instead of Xfree as default the ebuild should be updated to at least version 2004_08_20 sinse this is driver version present in Xorg. Beside this author (Thomas Winischhofer) recomends using at least same version of utility as version of the driver http://www.winischhofer.net/sis/sisctrl-0.0.20041129.tar.gz Simple name change of an ebuild is enough
