When browsing packages.gentoo.org each package has the links "Category, Homepage, Licence, Changelog and Similar Packages" attached to it. I think that there should be another link to a look with the package name in bugzilla. E.g.: the package kdebase should have a link between the Changelog and Similar Packages to: http://bugs.gentoo.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&field0-0-0=product&type0-0-0=substring&value0-0-0=kdebase&field0-0-1=component&type0-0-1=substring&value0-0-1=kdebase&field0-0-2=short_desc&type0-0-2=substring&value0-0-2=kdebase&field0-0-3=status_whiteboard&type0-0-3=substring&value0-0-3=kdebase (that is, a simple bugzilla lookup for kdebase). This link will make it easy to find bugs for the package, plus, it will make it easier to decide whether the package in question is stable enough to be installed on the target machine. Regards Kim
This got implemented a while back.
