Skype plays havoc on keyboard when screen sharing is remotely initiated during a call. It possibly hates my Lenovo TP E540, though other systems are affected too (see URL link above). The keyboard is lost for several seconds but still getting input in the background; the buffer is then flushed at once, resulting in all sort of weirdness. The keyboard remains "mute" in X: I can switch to a pty console and try recover -- restarting X might fix the issue, sometimes a reboot is required. Meanwhile, the mouse seems OK.
