Description Raphael Slinckx 2004-11-26 06:14:43 UTC
Version 0.8 has been removed from portage while bumping to 0.15, but the 0.8 was the last version of the driver that worked for me, now i'm stuck because my wireless won't work, and i can't emerge back ipw2200-0.8 !

How can this be solved (is there anywhere i can find the old ebuild 0.9 ?)

(Sorry if this does'nt fit in bugzilla ..)
Thanks

Hey !
Thanks for this quick answer, this will be ok for me, but i'll post a bug report upstream, so they can maybe fix it, I think you can close this now..
Comment 4 Jeremy Maitin-Shepard 2004-11-26 10:16:14 UTC
I didn't realize anyone still needed 0.8. I will add it back if the problem is not fixed soon.
Comment 5 Raphael Slinckx 2004-11-26 11:01:05 UTC
I submitted the bug to bughost: http://www.bughost.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=425

I don't know if this affect anybody else, I didn't hear of this problem anywhere else, but I would put the 0.8 back in the meantime...

Hi !

This bug has been fixed upstream and will be released in 0.16, so this one can be closed (see link in above comment for more infos)

As I said above, it's ok with 0.16
