emerge -up openoffice-ximian

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies \
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.1" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2_rc1 (masked by: -* keyword)
- dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.01 (masked by: -* keyword)

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
section 2.2 "Software Availability" in the Gentoo Handbook.
!!! (dependency required by "app-office/openoffice-ximian-1.3.5-r1" [ebuild])

--------------

java -version
head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future
java version "1.3.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build Blackdown-1.3.1-02b-FCS)
Classic VM (build Blackdown-1.3.1-02b-FCS, native threads, sunwjit)

-----

I have the same issue when trying to emerge php with java support (maybe several others too)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
breaks emerging of ebuilds, that rely on java

Expected Results:
unmasked versions should not rely on masked versions of software

It's been resolved a couple of hours ago, emerge sync and try again.
Basically the java team was too hasty in removing stuff.
