Description Peter Ruskin 2004-11-24 14:14:25 UTC
I tried to upgrade from 0.90.1-r2 to 20040916 but the tarball was corrupt on two different machines. So I popped off to Hungary to get the source; 20040916 is not there any more but 20041107 is, so I copied the 20040916 to my overlay, just changed the name to 20041107 and it works fine.

I've been running 20041107 for a few days now by simply renaming the ebuild and it's been working fine.
Comment 3 Jordan 2004-12-24 13:10:29 UTC
now that mplayer 1.0pre6 is out this should be updated along with it, it supports a LOT of new codecs through binary DLLs.

ebuild upgrade

The ebuild is that of version 20040916, just renamed! Who can insert it into
the portage?
Comment 5 plasmagunman 2005-01-29 15:21:53 UTC
now 20050115 is already released. a renamed ebuild works.
Comment 6 Jan Brinkmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-29 16:52:02 UTC
20050115 is now in the cvs. thanks for the report.
