The command 'emerge -u =gnome-extra/gtkhtml-1.0.4' failed because the linker 
could not find '-lglade-gnome'. 
 
I was able to successfully complete the above emerge by preceeding it with 
'emerge -u =gnome-base/libglade-0.17-r6'.
