hello,
here comes the ebuild for latest eog. 
one thing needs to be done before it goes to portage - i added new line to
/usr/portage/profiles/thirdpartymirrors (same as in #7211):

gnome201 ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/2.0.1
ftp://archive.progeny.com/GNOME/2.0.0 ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/X11/GNOME/2.0.1
ftp://ftp.no.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/2.0.1

this is bacause most of new versions of gnome2 thingies need '2.0.1' path, not
'2.0.0'. i didn't want to break old ebuilds, so i created new mirror label.

sorry, for misleading attachment name (one middle-click that pasted too much ;)
this is eog ebuild, not yelp.
would someone from developers team edit the attachment name, please?

already fixed.
globally changed the things in thirdpartymirrors and all mirror://gnome ebuilds
so this is now all-over fixed.
