Hi,

gv reports "3.5.8 (debian)" as its version.

Also, the man page refers to the Debian maintainer:
"Suggestions and bug reports
       Please send suggestions or bug reports to ckesselh@debian.org."

This change is done by the Debian patch applied.

It would prefer that it says Gentoo :)

I don't think compressed patches are ment to be in cvs either.

since debian knows more about the patches and it's infakt the 3.5.8 debian version i vote for leaving it this way
