Before the released app-shells/fzf-0.21.* on Portage I was using the version 0.20.0 from the mva Overlay. That one has working CTRL+R reverse-i-search on bash, probably by the provided file /etc/bash/bashrc.d/fzf.bash Please compare and adapt ebuild in Portage. Reproducible: Always
Starting from 0.21 you need to manually source key bindings from your shells. Please, add the following to your ~/.bashrc: source /usr/share/fzf/key-bindings.bash We understand that some people may find this less convenient, but a lot of people use fzf not for completions, but as a general purpose searching too and/or a plugin to code editor and despise fzf as a search function in their shells.
Massimo, do you have any further input on the topic? If not, I suggest we close this bug.
No, thanks.
So could someone close this then? The assignee seems to be unreachable for the moment.
