log4cxx has been moved to being hosted with the apache project. No further updates are being posted to sourceforge, and the files that are there will at some point be removed. Apache uses it's own funky mirror system. This has resulted in the Gentoo log4cxx package lagging behind the current release of log4cxx. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Go to the Sourceforge Website. 2) Read the notice. 3) Go to the Apache website. ;-) Actual Results: So far the build works okay (well, with the patches mentioned in another bug), but it's 2 revs behind, and a simple rename of the build doesn't work. However, the code is downloaded from a sourceforge mirror. Expected Results: The code should be downloaded from an apache mirror.
log4cxx is not part of the Apache Herd.
sorry Chuck - the apache herd don't share your enthusasm in maintaining this program.
I have taken over maintainership of this package from the apache team (even though according to c#1 they didn't own it). Despite my massive todo list for this morning, I am hoping to get a 0.9.7 ebuild out ; if not this morning then asap.
0.9.7 is in CVS. Support added for doc, unicode, odbc, and smtp USE flags.
