Here is a plugin for modplugbmp. A BMP plugin for MOD files. It used to not work for me, but when I switched to cvs it worked. It seems to work for other people.

We do not have a beep-media-player CVS ebuild (will not have one either). Please await the next release of BMP or submit a patch that makes this plugin work with 0.9.7-rc2.
As far as I know it works for other people. I think I just have something weird with my setup. Other plugins that are in portage have the same bugs for me and not for other people running gentoo. The UADE plugin for example. I need someone to test before submitting judgement. Reopening.
The new release is out, and the plugin now works. I have modified the DEPEND line accordingly. Also, I have removed the src_unpack section and the inherit on eutils (both are not necessary until any patching needs to happen). Thank you for your report. If you wait two hours then sync, you will be able to merge modplugbmp (and the new BMP should come along in that same sync).
