If I use the mirrorselect in automatic mode from the universal image (2004.2 x86 or 2004.3 amd64) and use mirrorselect as told in the documentation, it complains about not being able to find portageq (path issue ?) and not being able to support ipv6. It continues running and when it has finished the test datablocks it downloads are dumped into the make.conf file too Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Are you using the online handbook or the one on the CD? Also, what command are you using, exactly?
Apparently missing some information :) Marking as NEEDINFO; Joseph, just reopen the bug.
