Description Robert Krig 2004-11-19 11:00:27 UTC
Blender includes quite a number of python scripts. However when I open up the scripts menu in blender, there are entries for the different categories of scripts, but the categories themselves dont seem to contain any scripts.

If have asked about this in the blender forums. Apparently the gentoo ebuild does not install the python scripts which are included in the blender distfile archive.

I was able to manually install them by untarring the distfile, copying the python scripts into a specific directory and then telling blender where to look for python scripts.

Does the ebuild perhaps install the scripts in a folder I was not aware of?

Reproducible: Always

nope it doesn't install it (yet)

the install scons target is problematic so I just copied the files, I'll add the scripts in few hours

Update, will take some more time and in the mean time I'm waiting for the .35a sources...
