This is basically a request for two ebuilds - eina and libeina - as eina depends on the latter. I gave it a try but libeina gives me errors about intltool which is beyond me. Thanks to anyone who's giving it a try. Very much appreciated. An'dreas' Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

There's currently some talk about intltool and how libeina doesn't really need it. See the comments section of eina over at gnomefiles.org for details: http://www.gnomefiles.org/comment.php?soft_id=609 We should probably wait until libeina is fixed. I'll keep an eye on it.
libeina seems to be fixed, no more annoying errors about intltool. ebuild compiled successfully.

Created attachment 44759 [details] media-sound/eina-gnome/eina-gnome-0.3.1.ebuild This is the ebuild for eina called eina-gnome as the sources are called like that as well. I first tried src_install() the recommended way by using 'make DESTDIR=${D} install || die' but that failed horribly giving out a bunch of ACCESS_DENIED errors. Using 'gnome2_src_install' (got that from another ebuild) it finally worked but I'm not sure if it's complete. I would be thankful if someone could check the ebuild. Anyway, even though eina-gnome compiles successfully an error occurs upon using it. Every time I try to add a file to the playlist it segfaults. But then, Damian over there at gnomefiles.org, is getting exactly the same error so it might *just* be a code bug. I think we'll have to wait again for future versions.
0.3.2 is available now: http://bolgo.cent.uji.es/files/eina-gnome/ Hopefully someone else can give the new version a try using this ebuild (by simply renaming th ebuild) as I'm currently not on gentoo (and won't be for a while).
changed eina-gnome-0.3.1 to 0.3.3, changed dep in eina-gnome and libeina version to 0.96.5... running gnome 2.8... compiled nicely, gives a gnomevfs/gstreamer error on startup despite detection during ./configure step, then runs... crashes when attempting to add song to playlist with this: (eina-gnome:11075): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_set_valist: object class `GstFakeSrc' has no property named `location' Segmentation fault looks like same probs as Andreas, I think this needs to mature more.
