Description Harris Landgarten 2020-03-29 21:18:29 UTC
dev-vcs/bzr should not be removed until there is a version of app-emulation/snapd which does not depend on it. snapd is an important package with enable snap packages to run on gentoo.

other overlays could be involved too.
A workaround could be to maintain a copy of the old ebuild in the overlay.
Comment 2 Jesse Harris 2020-03-30 10:25:12 UTC
app-emulation/snapd from the snapd overlay does not depend on dev-vcs/bzr
Could this perhaps be from versions prior 2.34 on the prototype99 overlay?
Comment 3 Harris Landgarten 2020-03-30 11:27:16 UTC
I am running 2.15.2 from ::gentoo-snappy

Could this be reassigned? gentoo-snappy is not in the layman remote list, so I'm wondering how ::snapd overlay was detected as relying on dev-vcs/bzr

You could switch to my overlay ::snapd

The suggested alterations have been applied to ::prototype99
