I first thought this is a dupe of bug 707876. Error is

but I don't think so.

But I also doubt that something in v7.2.29 caused this. 7.2.28-r1 passed on sparc.

Also, does this happen across all PHP versions?

No, it is just 7.2.29

7.2.29 is long gone and no other versions impacted.

Reopen if this appears again.
