PowerPC Releng stages have not been updated to use the new Portage repo, distfiles, packages locations in /var .

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download stage3-XXX-ppc[64].tar.xz
2. Unpack
3. Observe /etc/portage/make.profile symlinks to ../../usr/portage/profiles/etc

I updated /etc/catalyst/catalyst.conf on timberdoodle. Next stages should be fixed.
