Is it just a regular bump?
if not, please post a diff against the latest version.

cant find see any diffs from the 4.3-build - just bump it regular plz ...

I just checked the changes from 4.3 to 4.4, and it's just a maintenance release.  No build or config options have changed, so it's a simple version bump in portage.  I'd like to second Daniel's request to commit this.
