TRAMP provides transparent, multiprotocol remote file access and editing
capabilities, AuCTeX is an important major mode for TeX/LaTeX editing and ERC is
a highly favoured IRC client for emacs.

This is a similar request to bug #3705, covering leim, a collection of input
methods crucial for generating text in foreign languages (other than English).
