The universal AND minamal 2004.3 live cd's will not boot on either of my systems.  I tried diffrent download sites, and diffrent burns on diffrent systems (all amd).
After this line, nothing, notta...

Boot from CD:

When I use my old (and new burned one, testing my cd burner) 2004.2 CD, gentoo boots fine (off the cd).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on PC
2. Insert 2004.3 CD into cdrom (or place in tray)
3. Watch as nothing happens after "Boot from CD:"

Actual Results:  
Nothing. 

Expected Results:  
Asked me to hit F1 to choose what kernal I want to boot.

Blank hard drive.  Athlon 2500 on an Asus A7N8X motherboard.  Pioneer cd rom.  
2004.2 Installed flawlessly (well almost, had to turn off the secondary nic, 
ati and nvidia errors when loading x).  Blanked the drive and tried to do a 
fresh install of 2004.3, but the cd wouldnt boot.  Tried on my main system 
(Athlon 64 3000 on MSI K8N Neo2) and it still wouldnt boot.  Put the 2004.2 CD 
into my main system and it booted.  Burnt 5 cd's testing, only one that boot 
was the 2004.2 that I burnt after the 4th 2004.3 cd...

I'll look into it, but I'm really not sure what I can do to resolve this.  The 2004.2 and 2004.3 ISO images are created exactly the same.

may of been bad cd's at the bottom of my cd-r pack, i went out and bought a new pack of cd-r's and it burned fine..
