Description Cosmin Nicolaescu 2004-11-15 20:29:20 UTC
I discovered that I have both freetype 1.3.1-r3 and 2.1.5-r1 installed. When trying to emerge world portage tried to update to 1.3.1-r4, however running emerge freetype wanted to reinstall 2.1.5-r1. Unemerging freetype-1.3.1-r3 broke Eterm (libttf.so.2)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure you have Eterm emerged, and check to have freetype-1.3.1-rX (needed) and freetype-2.1.5 (latest stable)
2. emerge -avC freetype-1.3.5-rX
3. run Eterm

Actual Results:
Eterm could not be run because libttf.so.2 was not found

Expected Results:
freetype-2.1.5 should contain libttf.so.2

Portage 2.0.51-r3 (default-linux/x86/2004.2, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1,
