Hi its just a small thing it the smb.conf file of samba.
the outcommented "print command" is lpr-cups ... .
Because "lpr-cups" doesnt exist ( it is just "lpr" ) it just doesnt print 
without telling you much about the Problem.   Because the cups installer 
install it as lpr perhaps naming this from lpr-cups to lpr, would help in 
instaling it faster.  ( alternative would be to let the cups install set up a 
symlink lpr->lpr-cups)
