Description Wayne 2004-11-15 12:36:33 UTC
When attempting to run wavesurfer it asks for tkcon. I don't see an ebuild like that. Should it be added as a dependency?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge wavesurfer
2.
3.

Actual Results:
wayne@Wuler] wavesurfer
Error in startup script: can't find package tkcon
    while executing
"package require tkcon"
    (file "/usr/bin/wavesurfer" line 26)
~

Expected Results:
run

I have an x86 boxen, and I have the same problem.

this seems to be an arch independent problem. reassigning to wavesurfer's herd: sound

ebuild of wavesurfer-1.7 provides tkcon.tcl, but wavesurfer-1.7.5 doesn't. In both wavesurfer tarballs tkcon.tcl is present and both ebuilds lood similar, so I don't know why 1.7 installs tkcon.tcl and 1.7.5 doesn't...

wavesurfer-1.8.1 seams to fix that problem.

Matsuu, you did most of the version bumps, you want to take care of this?
