Description Sebastian 2004-11-15 04:37:16 UTC
Hello all!

I have gpdf 2.8.0 and ggv 2.8.0 installed. And I came across a pdf gpdf isn't able to display properly. I think in this case images tell more than words, so you might want to take a look at

http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/sebastian.kemper

What do you think?

Greetings
Sebastian

gpdf has some known limitations, one of them is not supporting type 3 fonts. It looks like that is the case here, but maybe somebody who knows more about fonts knows better.

Ah, thanks for the info!

Comment 3 Joe McCann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-17 02:46:54 UTC
going to assume its a type3 fonts issue since its just a random pdf, closing for now. This is an issue that is suposed to be resolved in the 2.9/2.10 series.
