Please send the patch (`diff -Nut oldFile newFile`), not the patched file. The diff I made was unmanageable because almost all lines had been changed and I had a hard time finding all differences. Please do send a patch next time. Just get the .xml file, copy it to .xml.old e.g., fix it, run diff -Nut .xml.old .xml >aNicePatch, send the patch. Unfortunately, it seems that viewCVS is going through another fit and is running late again. Just use wget or curl to get the current files, it's much easier IMHO, e.g. curl http://www.gentoo.org/doc/ro/handbook/hb-working-variables.xml?passthru=1 Changes applied. Thanks.
