1. opendchub supports running as another user than root, but this option is enabled only if the "--enable-switch_user" is passed to ./configure script
"--enable-switch_user" depends on -lcap so "emerge lcap", is an dependecy
2. also if you can add an /etc/init.d/opendchub that starts/closes this daemon
