Comment 1 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-21 09:03:49 UTC
have you tried using more conservative CFLAGS ? (rule 1 of gentoo bugreporting)

afaic this pack can be removed, it's herdless and seems undermaintained.

wonder how that metadata came into being there, chris ? It seems pointless to add it as it is.
Comment 2 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-21 09:20:47 UTC
Well, I'd like to try and see if I can get my webcam running again so as to debug this issue. If not, I'm all for removing it. As for the metadata, not quite sure what I was on when I added it, it was meant to say "media-video"...
Comment 3 Chris White (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-25 13:54:18 UTC
Can you try the latest 0.17 and let us know if it works? Thanks!
Comment 4 Jan Brinkmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-28 07:18:54 UTC
hmm, what about this one?
Comment 5 Jan Brinkmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-13 13:38:21 UTC
feel free to reopen if that problem persists
