Description iago 2004-11-12 10:09:38 UTC
installation process can't find a file necessary to complete installation. it is probably a documentation file (index.sgml). Now I will try to install gtkspell without USEflag doc.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gtkspell
2.
3.

Actual Results:
error during installation

Expected Results:
install correctly

I had no problems installing gtkspell without doc USE flag. So consider to fix it or to remove doc (temporarily!)
Comment 2 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-15 09:57:51 UTC
can you give the log of the emerge so we can see what the error is?

it is most likely a docbook sgml stylesheet problem, have a search in bugzilla for similar issues
Comment 3 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-11-22 09:25:11 UTC
Please include:

o) emerge info
o) qpkg -I -v docbook
o) and _attach_ a full build log.

We can also find a libtoolize/ltmain.sh error here, default fix works.
