Hello, https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/tree/master/doc says that libsoup is optional and used for geo tagging. Since the USE flag already exist for 3.0.0, this seems to be an easy fix.
It works fine without libsoup in my local overlay (compiles and run normally).
The documentation is wrong, it is the Facebook exporter and not geotagging that requires libsoup.
