Description Shevek 2004-11-12 03:48:18 UTC
The AMD64 CD has four sata modules for a 2.6.3 kernel but boots a 2.6.7 kernel, this rendering these modules useless.

It is also missing most of the SATA drivers.

The SATA drivers exist and are the correct version. However, you may need to "modprobe ide-disk" to access them.

If this doesn't work for you, then the 2004.3 LiveCD will be available sometime tomorrow.

More like in 2 hours.... *grin*

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
