I want to setup a full gentoo distribution server. We have a 2mbps up/downstream dedicated circuit + 1mbps adsl. As far as we have been told, there arent any portuguese (rsync) servers available. Apologies on the late response to these bugs. We usually require at least 5Mbit in both directions for our rsync and distfiles mirrors to provide an enjoyable experience for our users. If you would like to have a local mirror for just your users, feel free to sync to an already existing mirror, but to provide services for the Gentoo community we have minimum bandwidth requirements.
