http://mirrorservice.org/sites/distfiles.gentoo.org/snapshots/?C=M;O=D shows the last portage snapshot to be around 10 days ago (21/01/2020).

Yeah the main mirror people are syncing from is dead. I need to follow up w/Robin on this.

@Tim:
Can you clarify what mirror you were fetching from before?
If it was rsync://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/gentoo-distfiles, then you weren't switched over.

If that was the rsync source, please update to:
rsync://masterdistfiles.gentoo.org/gentoo

If it wasn't, can you please clarify what your cronjobs for the sync are doing?

That was it - we were using the old mirror to sync from. I've just updated to the new one and it's currently syncing. Apologies if I missed an email telling us to switch.

The mirror is now synced, so I believe this bug can be closed.
