Description David Monk 2002-08-26 13:26:45 UTC
At least that's what appears to be the case. I just reinstalled my system using
the 1.2 build cd, but I am using the new default-x86-2.0 profile.
The manpages for portage tools are in /usr/share/man/man0, but all of them have
differently sectioned filenames, like emerge.1.gz.
So, man can't find them. I copied them to /usr/share/man/man1 and they do work
properly.

Related bug#6770

It shows a fix in that bug, but it is still not fixed even in the latest portage
portage-2.0.30_alpha. ???

Will be fixed in 2.0.30 final :)
