The devmanual team wants to change the font used in images to Open Sans, i.e., the same font that is used by the Tyrian layout. In order to make this work in the svg-to-png rendering stage, we would need media-fonts/open-sans installed on the machine that builds the devmanual. (Sorry, but I don't know which one it is.)
I've added it to the package list for www::devmanual class. Will let you know when it deploys (unless I forget about it ;-)). I see we're installing corefonts there. Will it no longer be necessary after this, or is that irrelevant?

The images have been replaced by the ones using open-sans. So if corefonts were only needed to build the devmanual, they can go now.
It is gone now.
