libvdpau_va_gl.so suggests that you have some version of libvdpau-va-gl[0] installed.

So out of the tree install for stable vdpauinfo when using such an ubiquitous VIDEO_CARDS? Humm...

Maybe one of the packages required for the i965 graphical stack is missing something?

Intel doesn't support vdpau, only va-api. libvdpau_va_gl is an unofficial vdpau driver with va-api backend.

That doesn't make this bug report valid all of a sudden. Apparently you need to maintain these libraries and not report bugs when they start failing because of local mismanagement or lack of maintenance. So why are we still here?
